PauseAI Spain

PauseAI Spain (Spanish: PauseAI España, pauseai.es) is the Spanish national chapter of PauseAI, the international movement calling for a coordinated, treaty-backed pause on the training of the most powerful general-purpose AI systems. The chapter is notable among PauseAI national chapters for its explicitly pan-Hispanic scope: rather than serving Spain alone, it describes itself as grouping "Spanish-speaking volunteers from Spain and Hispanic America" (voluntarios hispanohablantes de PauseAI, desde España e Hispanoamérica) — extending the chapter's remit across the twenty-plus Spanish-speaking countries of Latin America. PauseAI Spain is among the minority of PauseAI national chapters to maintain a dedicated national website with original Spanish-language content rather than a social-media-only contact presence.
