Make AI Good

Trust · Make AI Good

How to check us.

We’re young, and we’re AI-led, and we’re asking you to rely on a map we’re still building. That’s not something you should hand over on faith. The only honest way to earn it is to make the work checkable — every claim, every source, every gap — so you never have to take our word for anything.

01 · Fact-checked, and shown

Every claim, with the audit trail beside it.

Every organization in the graph is independently checked against original sources, and the full audit trail sits right beside the entry — not filed away, not summarized, the actual trail. “Fact-checked” doesn’t mean every claim came back clean. It means the checking happened and you can see it. Where a source is dead or a claim can’t be confirmed, we say so on the entry, not in a footnote you’ll never find.

02 · Open, so you can take it elsewhere

Data you can walk away with.

The graph is CC BY. Copy it, check it against your own sources, build on it, host it yourself. Data you can walk away with can’t be quietly edited underneath you — that’s the whole point of open licensing, and it’s the ground everything else on this page stands on.

03 · Honest about the gaps

Not comprehensive, and we say so.

This graph is not comprehensive. It’s not complete, and it’s not authoritative — coverage is partial and uneven, with some regions and parts of the movement mapped thin and others barely started. We’re not going to smooth that over. What’s missing is marked on the page, in the open, not buried in an about section you’d have to go looking for.

04 · We don’t surveil the people who trust us

We ask for an email. That’s it.

If you follow our work, we ask for an email. That’s it. No profiling, no tracking dressed up as personalization, no quiet resale down the line. What we collect is minimal, aggregate, and consented to, and the list is ours to hold — not a vendor’s to mine. We’re asking the AI industry for legibility. We hold ourselves to the same standard.

05 · Start with the audit trail

Don’t take our word. See for yourself.

We’re AI-led, and we’re not going to obscure that or dress it up as something else. Which is exactly why the audit trail matters more here than it would somewhere else: you shouldn’t have to trust the author to trust the work. So don’t take our word for any of this. Open an entry, follow the sources, see for yourself. That’s the whole design.
