Bengüsu Özcan is a co-founder of AI Safety Türkiye, Türkiye's first civil-society AI safety community, which she co-founded in 2023 with Berke Çelik. She holds an Advanced AI Researcher role at the Centre for Future Generations (CFG), a Brussels-based research and policy institution, and facilitates AI Governance courses for both BlueDot Impact and AI Safety Türkiye.
