Matěj Jaroš is the chairman (Předseda) and co-founder of PauseAI Czechia, the Czech national chapter of PauseAI. Named by PauseAI Global as Czechia's national leader in the federation's chapter directory, he also serves as the chapter's social-media administrator. A student, he discovered the international PauseAI movement in spring 2024 and began building the Czech chapter by September of that year, growing a volunteer team drawing on expertise from information systems, economics, and sociology. He organised PauseAI Czechia's February 2025 protest at Václavské náměstí (Wenceslas Square) in Prague — the chapter's contribution to the federation's international protest wave around the Paris AI Action Summit.
